Mission Control

Mission Control (/mission-control) is your home dashboard. The greeting reads “Welcome back, {your first name}” with the subtitle “Here’s your crew at a glance.” and a week stamp on the right (e.g. “WEEK OF JUN 22, 2026”).

The header has a search box (“Search crew, schedule…”) and the “+ Book a crew” button, which opens the new-request sheet on the Requests page.

Tile Value Sub-line
CURRENT PLACEMENTS Active, scheduled or paused placements, including placements with no schedule entries this week “Active, scheduled or paused”, or “No current placements”
SCHEDULE DAYS / WK Schedule entries in the current Mon–Fri week, including conflict entries, with a d suffix “Schedule entries this week · includes conflicts”
THIS WEEK ESTIMATE This week’s scheduled value at your placement rates, compact (e.g. $13.4k) “Scheduled value at your rates”
OPEN REQUESTS Requests still in the pipeline “in the pipeline”, or “all clear”

The “Estimated schedule value by role” card (meta: LAST 6 WEEKS · ESTIMATES) shows six weeks of scheduled value. The current week includes future dates. Conflict entries count as days with zero value; paused days use the applicable placement retainer. These estimates do not establish completed work, an invoice or an amount paid. Actual invoices and payment balances are separate.

  • Columns run oldest → newest, labeled W-5 … W-1 and NOW.
  • Your top two specialties by estimated value get their own tone; the rest collapse into “Other” when more than three appear.
  • Hovering a bar shows the week, a per-role breakdown (e.g. “Front End $4.2k · Design $2.1k”) and the week’s estimated total.
  • ON DEMAND — an upsell card: “Need more hands?” — “Book a new specialty for a week, then schedule days on demand.” with a “Book a crew →” button.
  • Requests (with ALL →) — “{n} open request(s)”, an IN PIPELINE badge when requests remain open, and “See Requests for the latest status.” (or “No requests in the pipeline.”). The “+ New request” link jumps to Requests.
  • Billing (with INVOICES →) — your latest visible invoice’s amount and status pill (Due, Processing, ✓ Paid, Past due, Cancelled), captioned “Latest invoice” (or “No invoices yet”). An unissued admin draft is not shown and cannot replace an older visible invoice here. If anything is overdue, a “Past due” alert banner appears — review it from Billing.

The “Current placements” card (count chip “{n} CURRENT PLACEMENTS”, plus VIEW ROSTER →) lists active, scheduled and paused placements. The first row is “+ Add to your crew”, linking to Browse crew. Each member row shows their avatar, name, role, cadence (“1 day/wk” / “{n} days/wk”), and a status pill for active/scheduled members (paused members render muted with “—”). Searching filters this preview, while the dashboard totals retain the full workspace values. A search with no matches offers Clear crew search.
